membership of
Northallerton
Advanced Bikes,a
copy of "How
to be a better
rider",
the IAM test
fee, and your
first year`s
subscription
to the IAM upon
passing your
test.
We
would also recommend
that you part
with another
£10 or
so for a copy
of the Bikers`
Bible -
Motorcycle
Roadcraft -
the book upon
which all advanced
training is
based, and which
is available
at all major
bookshops.
The
only other possible
outlay is most
definitely voluntary,
but as with
most other Groups,
we ask that
you make a small
contribution
to your allocated
Observer towards
their petrol
and running
costs. The sum
of £6
per ride is
the current
suggested amount,
and many Observers
( who already
give up their
time freely
), choose not
to accept the
contributions,
preferring members
to make a donation
to the Club
funds instead
at the end of
your time together.
