Northallerton Advanced Bikes was set up in June 1998 following requests for advanced bike training facilities in the Northallerton, Richmond and Dales areas. We filled the divide which then existed between Durham and Cleveland to the north, and York and the West Yorkshire Groups to the south of us.

We now have over 70 members riding all types of machines from sports exotica through to custom cruisers, all of them sharing the same desire to improve their skills and abilities, and to enjoy their bikes to the full.

Many have gone on to pass the Institute of Advanced Motoring`s motorcycle test becoming more competent, more confident, safer and smoother riders.

We are affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) and offer the facility to prepare for the IAM Test if so required.

We run an established and successful method to advise and guide prospective candidates on how to prepare for the Advanced Test and beyond.
